About The Company

As of right now, Doxology Software is just one person...me. Though I have a vision of what I believe God wants this company to accomplish, I am going to uncover that slowly over the next several months in my blog. What I can tell you is why I decided to start Doxology Software.

What this is all about

To put it simply: the church needs help with technology. While the world has poured trillions of dollars into making technology work for it, the church has, in large part, let the technology wave go by, missing out on lots of opportunity in the process.

Now, I will be the first to tell you that technology cannot save anyone's soul, nor can technology alone revitalize a church. Only God can do that. But He has granted us some of the most powerful tools in history. Why aren't we using them effectively? Why aren't we learning how to harness their power to spread the Kingdom and strengthen the Body?

God slowly constructed a vision in me, not only of how the church could benefit from extensive use of computers and the Internet, but also of what I could do to help. It all comes down to three words:

• Educate - I can do my part to educate the church on the benefits of e-minstry, as well as how to do it on a daily basis.
• Equip - Provide software tools that help the church in its mission of spreading the kingdom.
• Engage - Provide hands-on work to churches who need help with their e-ministry program.

Those three words are, in a nutshell, what Doxology Software is all about. By God's grace, that's exactly what it'll do. How? Well, that's the part I'm covering in my blog.
